About the position
The Virtual Visit Support Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating telehealth services by providing technical support for virtual visit platforms. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers, as well as training patients on the use of virtual visit software and managing the necessary hardware.
Responsibilities
- Set up and troubleshoot virtual visit platforms for patients and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate virtual visit schedules and manage communication between patients and providers.
- Train patients on how to use the virtual visit software.
- Manage and maintain virtual visit hardware, such as mobile devices and laptops.
- Assist with resolving technical issues in real-time during virtual visits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in IT support is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in technical support, particularly in healthcare or telemedicine.
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
