About the position

The Lead Asset Manager at SitusAMC is responsible for the overall management of a client's portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for portfolio management, servicing oversight, and asset strategy. This role involves overseeing multiple servicers and strategic initiatives, ensuring client objectives are met through effective coordination and analysis. The position requires strong analytical skills, client collaboration, and the ability to drive performance enhancements within the portfolio management process.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client's portfolio post-acquisition, serving as the primary contact for all portfolio management activities.
• Oversee multiple servicers and strategic portfolio initiatives across various asset classes.
• Coordinate servicing transfers, operational reviews, and remittance reconciliations.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, reviewing loan documentation and compliance with guidelines.
• Develop portfolio campaign strategies and customized reporting for clients.
• Engage regularly with clients and servicers to report on portfolio performance and drive enhancements.

Requirements

• College degree or training in finance/mortgage banking preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 2+ years in an AVP level role or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial real estate asset management is required.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in mortgage/secondary market preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with staff and clients.
