About the position

The VP of Asset Management at SitusAMC is responsible for the overall management of a client's portfolio post-acquisition. This role serves as the primary contact for portfolio management, overseeing multiple servicers and strategic initiatives across various asset classes. Key responsibilities include coordinating servicing transfers, conducting operational reviews, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The position also involves developing portfolio strategies, customized reporting, and maintaining high performance within the Asset Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client's portfolio post-acquisition as the primary point of contact.
• Oversee multiple servicers and strategic portfolio initiatives across all asset classes.
• Coordinate servicing transfers and conduct operational reviews.
• Perform remittance and data reconciliation, and render workout decisions.
• Identify servicing performance irregularities and drive enhanced performance.
• Collaborate with diligence and collateral services teams to define asset-level strategies post-settlement.
• Develop portfolio campaign strategies and customized reporting.
• Ensure quality and performance of the Asset Management Team.

Requirements

• College degree or training in finance/mortgage banking preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in an AVP level role or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial real estate asset management is required.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.

Nice-to-haves

• Mortgage/secondary market experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with staff and clients.
