About the position

The position involves supporting the Head of the Programme Management Office in coordinating the management of projects and programmes. The role requires collaboration with Project Managers and regional/local teams on financial management, project planning, overall project governance, and various management reporting. The candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of change projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring compliance with Change Governance Policies, and managing risks effectively. The role also includes preparing quality materials for the Project/Programme Steering Committee and maintaining project tools like Clarity and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head, Project & Programme Management Office in coordinating management of the Project/Programme.
  • Drive and manage the end-to-end delivery of change projects in an Agile delivery methodology.
  • Manage Change Delivery Standards (CDS) and assurance framework for projects.
  • Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support financial management, project planning, and governance for Group, Region, and Country teams.
  • Establish governance and review Programme documents to meet quality standards.
  • Update Governance Dashboard and conduct Phase Gate reviews.
  • Prepare quality materials for the Project/Programme Steering Committee.
  • Engage Global teams on Change Delivery Standards and framework parameters.
  • Ensure project tools are up to date and track project status.
  • Coach and guide Project Managers in project management practices.
  • Organize and coordinate Project management learning sessions.
  • Drive and manage the annual Investment budget exercise.
  • Monitor process implementation effectiveness and enhance controls.
  • Embed high standards of ethics and compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience in the banking field.
  • Proven track record in project/initiative implementation.
  • Business analyst skills and flexibility to adapt.
  • Knowledge of Banks policies and procedures relating to NFRR.
  • Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasks and perform under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management and/or Agile experience/certification.
  • Experience with planning tools such as Clarity PPM, Jira, Confluence, Trello.
