The Risk Governance team at Citigroup is responsible for managing firm-wide cross risk type Governance Committees, including the Citigroup and CBNA Board Risk Management Committee (RMC), Group Risk Management Committee (GRMC), and CBNA Risk Committee. This team operates within the broader Risk Chief Administrative Office (CAO), which provides essential support to the Risk organization with a focus on governance, control effectiveness, regulatory engagement, risk communications, and financial performance, including resource management. The primary objective of this role is to oversee the day-to-day execution of the Risk Management Committees, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the established risk governance framework and that the risk profiles of Citi and CBNA remain consistent with the approved risk appetite. This includes addressing aggregate and concentration risks and discussing various risk issues that may arise, including top, growing, emerging, and idiosyncratic risks facing the firm. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop agendas for the Risk Management Committees and ensure that senior management receives complete, accurate, and timely information. The responsibilities include managing an integrated forward calendar for the GRMC, CBNA RC, and Board RMCs, coordinating agendas, stakeholder communications, and material development to enhance alignment and coordination across all committees. You will also be responsible for monitoring governance responsibilities, tracking coverage of top risks, and overseeing follow-up items. Engaging with various subject matter experts and members of the Risk Management Executive Council is crucial to ensure that key risks are appropriately escalated to the Executive Management committees. Additionally, you will lead high-priority strategic and regulatory ad hoc projects for the Risk Governance function, from identifying and structuring problems to analyzing root causes and developing solutions. The role also involves maintaining and enhancing the team's policy documents, providing effective challenge to internal stakeholders on presentation materials, and producing clear and succinct presentations for the Risk Management Committees and other forums. You will oversee the Risk Governance controls in line with expanded Manager Control Assessment expectations and coordinate the identification and adoption of new technology solutions to improve governance committee execution. Furthermore, you will respond to requests related to Internal Audit activities and support regulatory validation activities tied to transformation or consent order requirements.
