About the position

SitusAMC is seeking a Vice President for their client's due diligence team within Securitized Products, located on-site in New York City. This role is pivotal in the loan level due diligence activities associated with acquisitions, lending, securitization, and servicing of mortgage whole loan pools. The Vice President will be responsible for analyzing, loading, and presenting due diligence data to support business operations across whole loan trading, warehouse financing, and securitization. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with trading desks, assisting in the development and improvement of complex models, providing data analysis, and generating trade ideas. The successful candidate will also develop analytics to access extensive datasets, enabling in-depth analysis of loan-level data sets. In this role, the Vice President will balance daily functions with numerous ad-hoc requests while developing strategic solutions for the desk. Essential job functions include analyzing and providing summarization reporting and tracking for pre- and post-settle deal status, diligence and collateral curative activity, and contractual and regulatory milestones. The Vice President will review, verify, and maintain the highest quality of due diligence data, acting as a liaison between sellers, vendors, servicers, external counsel, and other third parties regarding due diligence activities. Additionally, the role requires writing complex queries to analyze large mortgage datasets, providing analysis, reports, and historical performance trends, and offering due diligence insights to the trading, banking, and finance teams. A working knowledge of all whole loan and securitization business-related documentation and market standard procedures is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and provide summarization reporting and tracking for pre- and post-settle deal status, diligence and collateral curative activity, and contractual and regulatory milestones.
  • Review, verify, and maintain the highest quality of due diligence data.
  • Act as the liaison between sellers, vendors, servicers, external counsel, and other third parties with respect to due diligence activities.
  • Write complex queries to analyze enormous mortgage datasets and provide analysis, reports, and historical performance trends.
  • Provide due diligence insights to the trading, banking, and finance teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in either RMBS, CMBS, or ABS.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Experience in Loan Management System, Warehouse Management System, CAS, or Liquidity.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
