About the position

The Vice President - Transit Facility Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, contracting, and support service activities for transit facility programs in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves managing a team to execute design engineering, contract procurements, and compliance activities, while serving as a key advisor to the Program Director to ensure efficient procurement processes and adherence to project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical, contracting, and support service activities for transit facility client programs.
• Develop and implement Program Management Plans for transit facility clients.
• Create procurement and contracting processes and operational policies to ensure efficiencies.
• Plan, monitor, evaluate, and supervise the operation of contractors, subconsultants, and vendors.
• Conduct competitive bidding activities including developing RFPs, RFQs, public noticing, and facilitating selection panels.
• Ensure the final product reflects the original scope and budget requirements.
• Proactively identify potential program problems or opportunities and develop optimal solutions.
• Support business development and corporate strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with extensive relevant experience or equivalent education/experience, including 6 years of leadership experience.
• 20+ years of relevant experience in transit facility programs.
• 15+ years of program management experience.
