About the position

We are hiring for a hands-on Warehouse Coordinator position that supports the day-to-day operations of the NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) department. This role is crucial in ensuring that the warehouse functions smoothly and efficiently, adhering to the company's standards of ethics, professionalism, and dependability. The Warehouse Coordinator will perform tasks under the direction of certified Level II personnel, ensuring that all operations meet the required quality and safety standards. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for unpacking parts, documenting their as-received condition, and preparing orders for inspection using pre-determined criteria. This includes performing final visual inspections and carefully packaging parts according to customer requirements upon completion of processing. Maintaining proper housekeeping is essential, as is adherence to applicable chemical, environmental, and safety procedures. The role also involves tracking orders and labor times using the company's internal software, which is vital for maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing of orders. In addition to these responsibilities, the Warehouse Coordinator will provide cross-functional support to other departments within the NDT group as needed. Participation in company-wide training and continuous improvement opportunities is expected, particularly in relation to quality assurance initiatives, company objectives, and peripheral projects. This position is ideal for someone who is quality-focused, detail-oriented, organized, and self-starting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Quality-focused, detail-oriented, organized, and self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and care in handling customer parts and test equipment is required for the controlled NDT inspection process.
  • Understand company's turnaround schedule and align orders to meet customer demands.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization.
  • Experience in a quality, manufacturing, or production environment is preferred.
  • Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and have the strength to handle parts of varying sizes and weights.
