About the position

The Warehouse Coordinator at Amerita plays a crucial role in ensuring that equipment and supplies are properly packed and prepared for distribution to patients. This position involves a variety of tasks including loading, unloading, stocking, and inventory management of supplies within the warehouse. The Warehouse Coordinator is also responsible for cleaning medical equipment and may act as a backup driver when necessary. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In this role, the Warehouse Coordinator will package and prepare equipment and supplies prior to their distribution, ensuring that all delivery tickets, requisitions, purchase order forms, and packaging slips are completed accurately. The coordinator will also be tasked with stocking and storing warehouse equipment and supplies, reporting inventory levels to the supervisor, and performing other related duties as directed. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse operations, contributing to the overall mission of Amerita to provide high-quality home infusion therapy services. Amerita is a specialty infusion company that focuses on delivering complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of hospital settings. Responsibilities

  • Packages and prepares equipment and supplies prior to distribution
  • Fills orders by preparing supplies to be distributed to patients
  • Ensures delivery tickets, requisitions, purchase order forms and packaging slips are completed accurately
  • Stocks and stores warehouse equipment and supplies
  • Reports inventory levels to supervisor
  • Cleans medical equipment
  • Performs other related duties as directed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, preferred
  • Preferred experience in warehousing or distribution inventory management
  • Certified pharmacy technician licenses, if required by individual State Board of Pharmacy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory
