About the position
Pine State Beverage is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Loader to join our team in Bangor, ME. This full-time position is integral to our operations, ensuring that our beverage distribution runs smoothly and efficiently. As a Warehouse Loader, you will be responsible for moving trucks in and out of the warehouse and loading wrapped pallets of products onto the correct trucks in preparation for delivery. This role is fast-paced and requires a strong work ethic, as you will be handling various products, including wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring that all cases match their respective route numbers for accurate loading. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 3:00 PM and typically finishing around 1:00 AM. Please note that this schedule may change during holiday weeks, so flexibility is essential. We are looking for individuals who can thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. In this role, you will also be expected to operate power industrial forklifts and complete pre-trip inspections. Safety is a top priority, and you will be required to operate our Class A and B trucks within the yard and warehouse safely. The position demands regular and sustained physical exertion, including the ability to lift kegs weighing up to 160 lbs. Punctuality and excellent attendance are crucial for success in this role, and prior warehouse experience is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Responsibilities
- Move trucks in and out of the warehouse.
- Load wrapped pallets of product onto the correct trucks in preparation for delivery.
- Operate power industrial forklifts safely.
- Complete pre-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Safely operate Class A and B trucks in the yard and warehouse.
- Physically sort wine, beer, and non-alcohol cases to ensure accurate loading of trucks.
- Lift kegs weighing up to 160 lbs as required.
- Maintain punctuality and excellent attendance.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to operate power industrial forklifts.
- Complete pre-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Possess a Class C Driver's license.
- Ability to physically sort and lift heavy cases of products.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.
