About The Position

The Warehouse Manager oversees all operations within a 24-hour warehouse environment, ensuring efficient management of receiving, storing, and shipping activities. This role involves leading a team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related field.
• Over 5 years of comparable experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control all warehouse activities.
• Invest in, develop, lead, and hire warehouse staff.
• Manage receiving, storing, shipping, and handling of goods.
• Ensure timely and accurate picking and shipping of customer orders.
• Inspect and operate company vehicles and equipment, enforcing safety rules.
• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, and invoices to determine priorities and assignments.
• Coordinate and document parcels for mailing, completing daily shipping logs.
• Control inventory accuracy through monthly physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Verify clerical computations against physical stock counts and adjust errors as needed.
• Ensure proper usage of raw materials by rotating inventory according to FIFO methodology.
• Lead implementation of process and technology improvements.
