Responsibilities

  • Assist and provide clerical support for the Distribution Center office.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Greet visitors, as needed.
  • Create memos, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Provide assistance at various areas including split/loam, verification, pallet label/receiving, arrival, appointment, inventory control, report, import and swing-shift/graveyard desks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one-three months clerical experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass drug test.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to work any shift.
  • Ability to travel independently on an occasional basis.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Accuracy/attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work within set time frames and fixed deadlines.
  • 10,000 SPH ten-key.
  • 40 WPM typing.
  • Ability to continue education, as necessary.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
