You will be responsible for unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking various departments to ensure that our store is clean, safe, and well-stocked. In this role, you will also handle hazardous materials, replace damaged shelving, and keep the backroom organized. Your efforts will directly contribute to setting up the store for sales success by organizing merchandise and top stock. To excel in this position, you must be prepared for the physical demands of moving merchandise for the majority of your shift. Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and sort products in the backrooms.
- Safely stock products on shelves.
- Ensure aisles are clean, organized, and safe.
- Engage customers, vendors, and associates with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or other warehouse jobs.
- 3 months of experience operating a forklift or similar equipment.
- 6 months of experience working in a warehouse environment performing inventory handling and stocking.
