About The Position

The Warehouse Receiving Clerk at EnerSys is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing deliveries in a manufacturing environment. This role involves verifying shipments, unloading and loading items, tracking damages, and processing returns. The clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining supply chain schedules through effective recordkeeping and inventory control, utilizing various technologies for tracking purposes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of experience in an administrative support role and/or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center.
• Ability to use computer systems including MRP, Inventory Control, and MS Office.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic information, instructions, and correspondence in standard business English.
• Ability to write basic instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and create/interpret quality tools like Pareto Charts and Bar Graphs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and labeling accuracy of inbound bill of lading/pack slip documents and physical inventory in the receiving process.
• Prepare shipping documents when applicable, including out of country shipments.
• Ensure required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file.
• Accurately and timely complete keying of receiving entries/PO reconciliation into SAP and facilitate efficient storage of the receipts.
• Provide backup coverage for material handling/staging and other warehousing tasks when assigned.
• Operate a lift truck and obtain a forklift truck license.
