About the position
The Warehouse Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse facility. This role involves operating industrial equipment and ensuring that all areas, including breakrooms and restrooms, are kept clean and organized. The position is safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas within the warehouse facility.
- Clear debris and dunnage from work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms, office spaces, and restrooms.
- Operate industrial equipment such as bailers, pallet jacks, and stand-up forklifts.
- Pull pallets and clean/scrub product bays on a rotating basis.
- Clean up spills or breakages of product.
- Notify operations management of safety concerns and suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
- Ability to operate industrial equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
