Warehouse Technician Lead

About the position

The Warehouse Technician Lead at Clearwing Productions is responsible for overseeing warehouse staff in the preparation, de-preparation, and management of show equipment. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure a professional work environment and uphold company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in the entertainment industry and be committed to maintaining high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor warehouse employees by establishing expectations and coaching.
• Forecast staffing needs and coordinate with the Site Manager for additional support.
• Conduct daily briefings to delegate tasks and communicate company expectations to staff.
• Lead the completion of internal sub hires, gear transfers, and dry rentals.
• Ensure accurate intake and return of all sub hires.
• Collaborate with department heads to prioritize tasks for timely show preparation.
• Maintain the physical condition of the campus and spearhead building improvements and repairs.
• Oversee multiple truck packs in the shop and on-site.
• Utilize various computer systems for forecasting needs and conflicts.
• Lead and direct warehouse staff and freelance crews to complete projects.
• Conduct annual and 90-day performance reviews.
• Report all safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• Five years of working experience in the entertainment industry in warehouse environments or equivalent education and experience.
• Working knowledge of equipment in Clearwing inventory.
• Forklift, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift certified.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Ability to lead a large crew and understand union/house rules.
• Current knowledge of industry standards and technology.
• Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR.
• Willingness to travel occasionally on short notice.
