About the position

Deloitte's Compensation and Benefits team in the Washington National Tax (WNT) practice is seeking an experienced professional with a background in Compensation and Benefits tax, particularly in areas such as Executive Compensation, Qualified Plans, and Employment Taxes. This role involves providing strategic advice to businesses on developing and managing compensation and benefits plans that align with corporate objectives and enhance employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-value advice to Tax and Human Resources professionals and client leadership teams regarding compensation and benefits plans.
• Evaluate complicated tax issues and help manage risk in a sophisticated business environment.
• Collaborate with practice office tax professionals and across Deloitte functions to address client needs.
• Assist in the development of meaningful and cost-effective compensation and benefits strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years' experience in a consulting environment.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed based on client and industry requirements.
• One of the following accreditations: Licensed CPA, Licensed attorney, or Enrolled Agent.
