About the position

The Wealth Management Advisor II at Fifth Third Bank serves as a trusted advisor and team coordinator for Private Bank clients, focusing on simplifying complexities and helping clients articulate and achieve their wealth goals. This role involves collaborating with a team of specialists to provide comprehensive wealth planning, investments, private banking, risk management, and trust services, while ensuring a high standard of client service and adherence to risk management policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prospect internal and external centers of influence to build a pipeline of new client opportunities.
  • Utilize the Life360 Discovery process to profile clients and identify needs that result in AUM, Loans, Deposits, Estate Planning, and Wealth Planning.
  • Act as a Core Team Member for One Bank to identify opportunities with new and existing bank customers.
  • Monitor and evaluate client needs to identify opportunities to expand and deepen household relationships.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in consultative and advice-driven sales; manage execution of client service standards to develop and retain lasting client relationships.
  • Develop and execute a personal business plan to achieve defined revenue and business objectives.
  • Ensure coordination of the team in delivering Private Bank experience standards.
  • Collaborate with a customized team of specialists to deliver high-quality client service.
  • Identify and refer opportunities for advanced planning solutions.
  • Coordinate with client third-party advisors to ensure synergy of recommendations consistent with client goals.
  • Resolve problems in a timely and effective manner as the primary contact for clients.
  • Provide clients with information regarding current trends and maintain thorough knowledge of investment products and market dynamics.
  • Organize and execute client reviews to ensure needs are being met, including Annual Client Reviews and quarterly updates.
  • Drive continuous improvement by seeking ways to deepen client relationships across Private Bank and other Bancorp channels.
  • Lead the 90-day client onboarding process and ensure alignment with team members to meet shared objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; Business Administration, Finance, or Economics preferred.
  • CFP, CFA, or CPWA industry certification preferred and required within 24-36 months of start date.
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accepted for industry certification requirement.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of successful sales/client service experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal negotiation, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
