Web Content Creator

About the position

AIS is looking for a Web Content Creator to work in Oak Ridge, TN. This is a unique opportunity to explore opportunities to support other projects with the same requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for web content updates and able to support creative content for presentations, brochures and other collateral material.
• Assume the role of the content editor for the website.
• Develop a plan and organize meetings with stakeholders to identify and prioritize content updates and implement them.
• Work with the Enterprise scrum request procedure to modify content modules and views.
• Maintain a consistent graphic standard for all communications (web, presentations, brochures, posters).
• Make suggestions for power point and poster templates that retain the graphic themes.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience with graphic arts, web design, content editing, and collateral material development in an earth science theme.
• A degree from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
• Natural problem solver, technical challenger and process improver.
• Detail oriented.
• Can-do, positive attitude.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and graphic editing packages.
• Conducts day to day activities with a focus on safety and culture.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced web design skills with Drupal or other packages.
• Science illustration experience.
• Editing experience.
