About The Position

As a Web Designer at Teleport, you’ll work on crafting a user-friendly, visually striking, and conversion-optimized web experience that reflects the cutting-edge nature of our products and our customers' innovative spirit. Your work will directly impact how customers interact with our brand. You will design and optimize responsive, high-performance web layouts, collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, and product teams, and develop dynamic landing pages and interactive elements. You will also build and maintain a cohesive design system in Figma, translate research and user insights into user-friendly designs, and incorporate accessibility best practices into all web designs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional web design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive, user-centric designs for B2B SaaS or technology-focused companies.
• Advanced skills in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and their impact on web design and development workflows.
• A deep understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, color theory, and branding.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 or similar standards, ensuring designs meet accessibility and usability requirements for diverse audiences.
• Experience leveraging user feedback, A/B testing, and analytics to refine designs and improve performance.
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally with developers, marketers, and product teams.
• Resourcefulness and adaptability to solve design challenges in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• A passion for staying current with web design trends, tools, and techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Sanity, Strapi, WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize responsive, high-performance web layouts that align with Teleport’s brand and user-first principles.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, and product teams to create digital assets that communicate complex technical concepts through intuitive and visually engaging designs.
• Develop dynamic landing pages, campaign micro-sites, and interactive elements that enhance user engagement and drive conversions.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, bridging the gap between design vision and technical execution.
• Build and maintain a cohesive design system in Figma, ensuring consistency across web properties while allowing for innovation and scalability.
• Translate research and user insights into user-friendly designs, using wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to communicate ideas effectively.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics data, and A/B testing results to continuously improve the user experience.
• Incorporate accessibility best practices (e.g., WCAG 2.1 compliance) into all web designs to ensure usability for diverse audiences.
• Create visual elements for multimedia content, such as infographics, animations, and digital illustrations, that reinforce Teleport’s brand identity.
• Stay informed about the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies, bringing fresh ideas to keep Teleport’s web presence innovative and impactful.
