About The Position

The Weekend Caregiver at Golden Heart Senior Care is responsible for providing personal care and homemaker/companion services to clients in their homes. This role emphasizes compassion and quality service, ensuring clients maintain dignity and independence while receiving the care they need. Caregivers will follow established care plans and engage in various activities to support clients' well-being.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with auto insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Prior home care experience is preferred.
• Understanding and respect for client ethics and confidentiality.
• Completion of PCA training, TB test, CPR, and medical clearance within 4 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home care services.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, toileting, and dressing.
• Assist with meal preparation and housekeeping tasks.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Transport clients to appointments or activities as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients' families and team members.
• Support clients with memory care as required.
