About the position
Pro Staff is seeking an expert Welder for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Alexandria, MN. This position is ideal for individuals looking to take the next step in their welding career. The company offers multiple shifts to accommodate work-life balance, ensuring that employees can secure their financial future while working in a supportive environment. The pay for this position ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The second shift operates from 4:30 PM to 3 AM, Monday through Thursday, while the weekend shift runs from 6 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday through Sunday. This flexibility allows welders to choose a schedule that best fits their lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Run robotic welder
- Use welders, cutters, and measuring tools
- Conduct visual inspections on parts for quality
- Set up welding machines and interpret welding symbols
- Perform miscellaneous housekeeping duties
Requirements
- 2+ years of welding experience and/or Tech School Training
- Confidence to pass a welding test
- Availability to train on a different shift if needed for a few weeks
- Proficiency in the use of inspection tools
- Capability to analyze blueprints/drawings
- Strong work history
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
