About the position

Sanofi is an innovative global healthcare company dedicated to improving people's lives through scientific advancements. We are currently seeking a Co-op to join our bioanalysis group within the Biomarkers & Clinical Bioanalysis (BCB) department, which is part of the Translational Medicine and Early Development unit. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about contributing to clinical trials aimed at developing treatments for immunological and inflammatory conditions, such as asthma and atopic dermatitis. The selected candidate will work in a collaborative team environment, where they will be expected to perform complex bioanalytical assays under supervision, support clinical trial project activities, and ensure safety compliance in the laboratory. This role requires the candidate to be onsite to effectively contribute to the team's objectives and make meaningful impacts on ongoing projects. As a Co-op, you will be involved in preparing or sourcing reagents and lab consumables necessary for conducting bioanalytical assays that support pharmacokinetics (PK), immunogenicity, and biomarker testing in clinical studies. You will also be responsible for adhering to defined timelines for project activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a regulated laboratory environment while working alongside experienced professionals in the field of bioanalysis. Candidates must be prepared to relocate to the office location and commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship or co-op.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex bioanalytical assays to support PK, immunogenicity, and biomarker testing in clinical studies under supervision.
  • Prepare or source reagents and lab consumables necessary for laboratory work.
  • Support safety compliance in the laboratory environment.
  • Assist with clinical trial project activities, adhering to defined timelines.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field at an accredited college or university, with an expected graduation by Spring 2026.
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following the internship/co-op with Sanofi.
  • Ability to relocate to the office location and work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the internship/co-op.
  • Permanent US work authorization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting and familiarity with basic lab techniques.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Experience in bioanalytical assay techniques such as ligand binding (ELISA, MSD, etc.) and multiplexed biomarker analysis.
  • Familiarity with instrument application software and basic statistical software such as EXCEL, SoftMax Pro, JMP, GraphPad Prism, etc.
  • Experience working with a laboratory information system, such as Watson LIMS, for sample tracking and data analysis.
