The Wood Shop Team Member plays a crucial role in our operations, responsible for completing all woodworking tasks in accordance with our standards for design, quality, safety, and cleanliness. This full-time position is based at our Killbuck campus and involves working with a variety of tools, hardware, and machinery. Candidates with experience in an advanced woodworking environment are highly preferred. The ideal candidate will embody the Crow Works values of grit, gratitude, collaboration, curiosity, and adaptability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and stage wood materials
- Understand and operate machinery such as a CNC machine, planers, routers, and sanders
- Follow all policies and company practices to ensure a safe and quality working environment
- Operate within standard operating procedures and quality control processes
- Complete and process repetitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy
- Assist in other Divisions as needed by the business
Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
- Experience running equipment such as a table saw and planer/sander preferred
- Flexible schedule when workload and deadlines need to be met
