About The Position

The Workers Compensation Program Manager at PACCAR is responsible for overseeing the multi-state workers' compensation program, managing vendor partnerships, and driving special projects to resolution. This role involves collaborating with HR professionals to support injured workers, promote return-to-work initiatives, and manage program financials through data analytics to measure performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in workers compensation or a related field.
  • Current understanding of legal and regulatory compliance for Workers Compensation programs.
  • Advanced Excel skills with data analytics experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with project management skills.
  • Ability to take a strategic and hands-on approach to program oversight.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Master's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for workers compensation administration.
  • Identify, research, and resolve complex claims issues.
  • Manage service delivery of workers compensation vendor and address field HR needs.
  • Lead contract renewal negotiations, including financial and performance terms.
  • Conduct data analytics to assess program performance and recommend improvements.
  • Organize and lead quarterly claims review meetings.
  • Complete and file required reports for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Develop and conduct training for HR professionals on workers compensation processes.
  • Train new field HR staff on vendor systems and PACCAR practices.
  • Lead related projects as assigned.
