About The Position

The Workstation PC Technician role at Insight Global involves providing technical support for a large healthcare client, focusing on a Microsoft-based network environment. The technician will manage hardware and software assets, prepare systems for deployment, and troubleshoot various technical issues independently. This position requires efficient work with minimal supervision and collaboration with other technicians as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years experience with PC support, including deployment.
• Minimum 2 years experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Well-versed in installing Windows, software, and applications.
• Expertise in PC Desktop, Laptop, and Tablet support.
• Basic knowledge of Desktop and Networking support on Windows Operating systems, including OS error conditions, IPConfig Command, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group policy.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
• Minimum 1-year experience with direct client interaction and proven customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel from site to site.

Responsibilities

• Support a Microsoft-based network running Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Manage incoming and outgoing assets and prepare systems for deployment.
• Install and maintain PC hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot network usage and computer peripherals.
• Perform data transfer and recovery.
• Resolve network communication problems independently.
