Pennsburg Manor is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Coordinator to join our nursing center team. This position is crucial in leading and integrating a comprehensive Skin Health and Wound Management program, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. The Wound Care Coordinator will work closely with nursing center management to develop and implement strategies that promote skin health and prevent pressure injuries. This role requires a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) who is committed to patient-centered care and has a strong focus on wound management. As a Wound Care Coordinator, you will oversee the clinical aspects of skin and wound care, serving as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products. You will also manage durable medical equipment related to wound prevention and care. This position is not only about providing care but also about leading a team, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the goals of the skin health program. You will be responsible for monitoring outcomes and implementing best practices in wound care, making a significant impact on the overall health of our patients. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday during the day, but occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
