About The Position

The Radiology Technician at the Ambulatory Surgery Center plays a crucial role in performing radiographic imaging during intra-operative procedures. This position requires collaboration with surgeons and OR staff to ensure effective radiology guidance, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, specifically with C-Arm equipment.
• Graduated from an accredited Radiology program.
• Licensed by NJ State DEP.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies.
• BLS certification is required.
• Maintain current knowledge of RIS and PACS computer systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Advanced computer skills including email, Microsoft applications, and proficiency in Electronic Medical Record System, RIS, and PACS Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures.
• Operate x-ray equipment (C-Arm) and ensure its connectivity with intraoperative PACS and RIS.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other OR staff to provide appropriate radiology guidance for specific cases.
• Conduct routine quality control checks on C-Arm equipment to ensure it is in acceptable condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of C-Arm equipment.
