About The Position

We are seeking a Non-Registered Radiological Technician (NCT) like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking an X-Ray Tech who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. As an NCT, you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician. You will also perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment, drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories. Additionally, you will maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs. You will work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction. You will ensure occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to. Routine office functions including copying, faxing, scanning, mailing, sorting, and filing of patient and clinic materials will also be part of your responsibilities. You may be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations, assisting with general patient care when needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial.
  • NCT - A Non-Certified Technician license in Texas.
  • The ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
  • NCT License issued by the Board of Medical Examiners/Texas Department of State Health Services is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.

  • Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
  • Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
  • Perform routine office functions including copying, faxing, scanning, mailing, sorting and filing of patient and clinic materials as appropriate.
  • Be cross trained for Front Desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
  • May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
  • Assist with general patient care when needed.
