About the position

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for creating and producing multimedia content for computer-based technical training. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and training designers to develop engaging multimedia learning objects, including audio, video, graphics, and simulations, aimed at enhancing the educational experience for technicians. The position requires a strong background in multimedia production and a focus on improving training processes.

Responsibilities

• Create multimedia objects including video, audio, text, simulations, still and animated graphics.
• Produce video and graphics for technical instructor-led training and stand-alone projects.
• Develop HOW2 content designed for technicians' work environments to improve productivity.
• Engage in process improvements and educate others on production processes.
• Collaborate in storyboarding with SMEs, specialists, and the training design team.
• Complete other assigned projects and tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications-Digital Media, Digital Design, Video, or Cinema/Film.
• 5 years of experience in developing interactive multimedia graphics, audio, and video.
• 3 years of experience in multimedia creation in training or technical fields.
• Intermediate experience with video design software such as Adobe Suite, AfterEffects, Photoshop, and Camtasia.
• Advanced experience with A/V equipment and cinematography.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, servers, and delivery systems.
• Ability to visually represent complex ideas and address quality issues.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to find solutions and solve problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Adobe suite certifications preferred.
• Graphic production experience is a plus.
