About the position

The Interactive Product Manager (Design Lead) is responsible for leading the design and execution of interactive projects, focusing on mobile apps and games for children. This role combines hands-on design work with leadership responsibilities, including project management and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure projects align with the brand's creative vision and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization of new interactive project opportunities, defining scope, user experience, and art direction.
• Create prototypes with the internal development team.
• Ensure exceptional user experience and engagement that aligns with Crayola Interactive standards and creative vision.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine specific project direction and objectives.
• Maintain project roadmaps/timelines, prioritize features, define requirements, and ensure milestones are met.
• Serve as interactive liaison with key cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for interactive projects.
• Evaluate opportunities based on business priority and impact, developing ideas into viable concepts for approval.
• Communicate objectives, direction, and feedback clearly to external partners.
• Review and approve licensed partner submissions including concepts, artwork, and final production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interactive Media, Game Development, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 7-8 years of experience in creative production, with a broad understanding of mobile game development.
• Proven ability to lead and manage diverse projects, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong insight into the interactive industry and emerging technologies.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with Office 365, Adobe CC, and Project Management Software such as Jira and Clarizen.
• Basic knowledge of app development tools including Unity, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console.
