About the position

The Telepharmacy Technician at CVS Health is responsible for managing the daily operations of a Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy, ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards while providing excellent customer service. This role involves overseeing pharmacy inventory, facilitating communication between patients and pharmacists, and mentoring new hires. The technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of pharmacy operations and enhancing patient loyalty through effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances and refrigerated products.
• Execute pharmacy ordering and inventory management practices.
• Receive and act upon operational communications and complete required tasks.
• Improve store service foundations through outstanding performance and customer service.
• Mentor and train new hires in the Telepharmacy.
• Facilitate communication between patients and pharmacists.
• Resolve customer concerns and collaborate with pharmacy teams to ensure medication accuracy.
• Participate in operational meetings and action planning.
• Maintain a clean and organized Telepharmacy department.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB National Certification or equivalent state-accepted national Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• High school diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED) required.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Mathematical reasoning skills for solving problems.
• Ability to recognize and resolve potential problems.
