About the position

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales revenue growth and nurturing distributor customer relationships within a designated geographical area. This role is pivotal in establishing and attaining sales goals while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and a deep understanding of customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective territory sales and marketing strategies
  • Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
  • Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Discover sales opportunities through market research
  • Present products and services to prospective customers
  • Participate in industry or promotional events to cultivate customer relationships
  • Participate in training on sales techniques and company product attributes
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Monitor competition within assigned region
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Regional Manager
  • Submit quotation requests and manage revisions and renewals

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience as a Territory Manager
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bachelor's in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred
