About the position

The Sr. National Accounts Sales Manager is responsible for developing new Direct National Accounts for the AmTopp Stretch Film Group. This role involves making sales calls at customer headquarters to secure multi-year National Stretch Film contracts exceeding $1 million. The manager will coordinate with the marketing department and national sales force to facilitate film trials and close accounts, requiring strong technical knowledge of stretch film and competitors.

Responsibilities

• Develop new Direct National Accounts for the AmTopp Stretch Film Group.
• Make sales calls at customer headquarters to solicit National Stretch Film contracts.
• Communicate with the marketing department and national sales force to coordinate film trials.
• Direct efforts needed to close accounts and draft new sales strategies.
• Participate in RFQs, completing spreadsheets with pricing and technical data.
• Conduct stretch film audits and provide detailed reports documenting savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
• 8-10 years of strong sales experience with a competitive stretch film supplier.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues when necessary.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong product knowledge of competitive stretch film offerings and equipment.
• Ability to conduct complete stretch film audits and provide detailed reports.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate film trials and quality audits.
• Ability to travel 25% for day trips.
• Strong selling skills at top management levels.
