About the position

The Customer Program Manager 1 at Celestica serves as the primary interface for smaller customer accounts, managing specific programs and projects to achieve planned revenue and profits. This role involves direct management of semi-skilled and entry-level employees, establishing annual plans, executing budgets, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. The manager is responsible for building strong relationships with customers and internal teams, coordinating program tracking meetings, and resolving customer issues to ensure satisfaction and timely product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface between the customer and the company for managing specific programs.
  • Coordinate and host regular program tracking meetings with customers and internal teams.
  • Manage current and planned programs to achieve planned revenue with guidance from experienced team members.
  • Communicate frequently with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
  • Monitor the impact on inventory of order changes and provide performance reporting for Operations Reviews.
  • Directly supervise employees, assigning tasks and checking work at regular intervals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in customer program management or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, schedules, and supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills, particularly in pricing and contracts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the PCB manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced database management skills.
