About the position

CLARK Material Handling Company, a century-old leader in the material handling and forklift industry, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our team in Flower Mound, TX. This full-time position is pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive the success of our products. The Product Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to ensure that our products meet market demands and align with CLARK's overall market strategy. The role involves conducting comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape. The Product Marketing Manager will analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats, develop customer personas, and create buyer journey maps to inform marketing strategies. Crafting compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences is essential, as is developing pricing strategies and conducting product benchmarking. Managing all stages of the product lifecycle is a key responsibility, as is driving alignment across consumer, business, design, and technical requirements. The Product Marketing Manager will facilitate market-facing messaging and collateral related to sales, promotions, field marketing, and channel support. Additionally, the role includes creating training programs, sales tools, and collateral for both inside and field sales teams. The successful candidate will develop and maintain product value propositions, differentiators, and key messaging, as well as create persuasive marketing materials, including product briefs, sales collateral, and case studies. They will also develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases, coordinate with sales teams for effective product training and enablement, and plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive product adoption and revenue growth. Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, managing digital marketing efforts, and engaging with customers to gather feedback for continuous product improvement are also critical aspects of this role. The Product Marketing Manager will build relationships with industry influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility and represent the product in various forums, including trade shows, webinars, and conferences. Finally, tracking and reporting on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and providing regular updates to stakeholders on product performance, market trends, and competitive insights are essential duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the material handling or forklift industry.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of market research, product positioning, and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and presentations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the US without any sponsorship.
