About the position
We are seeking a compassionate individual to join as a live In-Home Caregiver. In this role, you will provide essential assistance and support to seniors, ensuring their well-being and comfort while living in the home. This position requires a dedicated caregiver who can manage multiple clients and perform various caregiving tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Administer medication under supervision
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior
- Daily documentation including reporting progress and changes
- Engage in activities with residents/clients
- Laundry and housekeeping tasks
Requirements
- Experience or certification in caregiving, senior care, or related field
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR with certification
- Current TB Test, CPR & First Aid certification
- Ability to lift and move clients safely (50 pounds +)
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring
- Understanding of hospice care principles
- Skills in behavior management and social work
- Experience in senior care and dementia care
- At least 3 years of experience working with multiple clients
