About the position

As a (Contract) Senior Visual Product Designer at Crunchyroll, you will provide a visual refresh to the app experience across mobile, web, and TV. This role is focused on enhancing user experiences for anime fans and requires collaboration with a team of designers to evolve the Crunchyroll experience. Your designs should reflect an understanding of the industry and empathy for users, aiming to create elegant, engaging, and functional solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visual refresh to the Crunchyroll app experience across mobile, web, and TV.
• Collaborate with a team of designers to evolve the Crunchyroll experience.
• Create solutions that enhance user experience and delight anime fans.
• Demonstrate a user-centered approach in design work.
• Work within an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional visual design experience.
• Strong visual capabilities and a wide range of styles.
• Experience with brand and identity work.
• Proficiency in design programs like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Demonstrate a user-centered approach and empathy for end-users.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Adept collaboration skills with teams.
• Experience designing visual design language for UI.
• Understanding of anime fandom or similar fandom.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong illustration capabilities.
• Experience designing UI for TV devices.
• Experience working in the streaming or entertainment industry.
