About the position

The Accounts Payable / Executive Assistant position at JBS USA involves supporting the accounting department through various administrative and financial tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations within the department, including managing invoices, coordinating visits, and assisting with travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Submit Non-PO Invoices for payment in SAP
• Enter journal entries and attach support during month end process in SAP
• Create requisitions to order office supplies in SAP
• Cross train on multiple jobs within Accounting including but not limited to invoicing and PNL
• Coordinate all items for customer and corporate visits: gather PPE for tours, headsets, coordinate meals, photograph group, create gift bags, schedule safety pig appearance, and clean up gear and room after visits
• Perform tasks as assigned by the facility General Manager
• Manage scheduling of conference room calendars and setting up calls/presentations
• Submit and answer questions regarding to expense reports
• Take notes at the bi-weekly managers meeting
• Assist travel for employees through Egencia
• Manage donation request process
• Process outgoing & incoming mail and FedEx packages daily
• Perform various other tasks as needed to ensure efficiency in the accounting department

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Previous accounting/office experience preferred
• Excellent computer skills required, including excel
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbally
• Strong leadership
• Must be able to set goals and meet deadlines
• Professional phone skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to calmly and effectively handle stressful situations
• Results oriented. Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills
• SAP or comparable ERP system preferred
