About the position

The 1st Shift Compounder/Blend Tech position at Tower Laboratories involves performing various physical and administrative tasks in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on compounding blends of denture cleanser powder, operating industrial-sized blenders and mixers, and ensuring compliance with FDA pharmaceutical cGMP standards. This position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to make an impact in the pharmaceutical industry, with training provided for entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload ingredients/product into and out of large blending machines and drums according to Batch Record (BPR) directions.
• Weigh ingredients on scales and record observations accurately.
• Strictly follow procedures detailed in BPR and complete necessary paperwork timely.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, drums/containers, rooms, and facility to ensure sanitary working conditions in accordance with cGMPs.
• Transport bulk powders and packaging materials between warehouse and production areas, including operating a forklift and other material handling equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Self-starter with a high level of motivation.
• Ability to read and follow directions, complete paperwork, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Demonstrated team player.

• Ability to drive a forklift truck (training provided).
