About the position
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for providing material handling and storage support within the manufacturing warehouse. This role focuses on ensuring inventory accuracy, managing shipments, and maintaining the organization of materials to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure inventory and shipment accuracy.
- Compile and maintain reports.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by periodic cycle counting.
- Analyze and correct discrepancies.
- Deallocate/reallocate materials as necessary.
- Organize and maintain the materials storage area.
- Collect, categorize, and compartmentalize production materials and components.
- Kit and stage manufacturing builds.
- Track and receive material from vendors.
- Support and track internal QA inspection for the manufacturing production facility.
Requirements
- Experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and correct inventory discrepancies.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes.
