The Retail Sales Lead Front End - Key Holder at DICK'S Sporting Goods plays a crucial role in executing brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. This position involves leading by example, providing exceptional customer service, and guiding teammates in their roles. The Key Carrying Lead is responsible for building a strong team culture, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining merchandising standards while fostering an inclusive environment for both teammates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and support the store's vision.
• Assist the store leadership team with general supervision, including opening and closing the store.
• Plan and organize store operations 30 days in advance with the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager.
• Train and onboard new teammates, as well as cross-train current teammates on company procedures.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards, including inventory presentation and replenishment.
• Maintain loss prevention standards and controls in the department.
• Create an inclusive environment where all teammates and customers feel welcome and safe.
• Perform Front End and Cash Office functions, including processing firearms sales in compliance with regulations.
• Support building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using a ladder or aerial lifting device.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
