About the position

The Heroku Postgres/PLSQL Developer III is a pivotal role responsible for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of software projects and operational maintenance tasks within the Data hub using the Heroku platform. This position requires a deep understanding of Heroku integrations, Postgres PL/SQL, and ETL processes, as well as the ability to optimize data architecture and flow to meet business needs. The developer will be tasked with designing, developing, and unit testing scalable solutions on the Heroku platform, ensuring that all data interfaces from source systems to Heroku and from Heroku to Salesforce Lightning and CRM Analytics are maintained effectively for multiple applications within the Salesforce organization. In this role, the developer will define new development requirements through effective communication with requesters and will collaborate closely with testers and DevOps engineers to test and deploy Java-based web applications on the Heroku platform. Participation in process improvement initiatives is also a key responsibility, as is the ability to monitor and maintain Heroku Postgres. The developer will enhance integration between source systems and Heroku, as well as between Heroku and Salesforce or CRM Analytics/Tableau. Troubleshooting Heroku Postgres, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving issues are essential functions of this position. Additionally, the developer will analyze and understand Java source code using data transformation in Heroku and will collaborate with third-party or other IT teams to ensure successful delivery of product enhancements or maintenance support, including working with an offshore third-level development team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent curriculum.
• 8 years of experience in a programming position.
• 4 years of deep experience in Heroku Integrations/Postgres PL/SQL, ETL.
• 2 years of experience with CRM Analytics/Tableau.
• 2 years of experience in Java programming and debugging.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Superior problem-solving skills.
• Good documentation skills.
• Willingness to assist users with their tasks when needed.
• Certification on PaaS platform, Postgres PL/SQL is preferred.

• Experience in the Automotive Industry/Salesforce Heroku initiatives.
