About the position

The Software Engineer III (DevOps) position is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing software projects and tasks. This role involves direct interaction with user clients to ensure their systems are functioning correctly and includes responsibilities such as designing and enhancing web and mobile applications, collaborating with IT partners, and managing intersystem interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, operate, and enhance web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external IT system development partners throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Analyze user requests to determine if changes to the system are necessary.
• Work with users daily to address any system questions or concerns.
• Design, develop, validate, and run timely intersystem interfaces, such as API, EDI, and EAI.
• Engage with outside vendors that interface with the system when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in web/mobile application development and embedded software development.
• Experience with programming languages and software development tools including Java, JavaScript, SQL, C#, PHP, R, Objective-C, Angular, and .NET.
• Experience in Agile (SCRUM) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Experience working on RESTful Web Services, Microservices, .NET, ReactJS, and Node.js.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

• Good communication skills - Oral and Written.
• Demonstrated experience in IT service delivery management.
• Proficient with prioritizing duties and meeting deadlines.
