About the position

Queen Village Therapy Group is seeking a licensed mental health professional to join their team as a 1099 contractor. This remote position allows therapists to create their own schedules while providing valuable therapy services to a diverse clientele. The role emphasizes quality care in a supportive environment, enabling therapists to assist clients in improving their mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote therapy sessions with clients using a secure and HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
• Provide individual, couples, or family therapy, depending on client needs and your areas of expertise.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including session notes and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the clinical team for case consultations and ongoing professional development.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive therapeutic experience.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid license in the state of Virginia as a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD).
• Experience providing therapy in a remote or telehealth setting is preferred but not required.
• Reliable internet access and a quiet, private space for conducting remote sessions.
• Private practice minded: independent and flexible.
• Completed CAQH profile (required if invited to join the practice).
• Professional Liability Insurance (required if invited to join the practice).
