About the position
The Renovation Crews are responsible for the complete modernization and rehabilitation of existing apartment units across specified properties. This role involves executing all necessary activities to remodel units according to construction plans while ensuring high standards of customer service and property curb appeal.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete modernization and rehabilitation of apartment units.
- Execute remodeling activities as per construction plans dictated by the site superintendent.
- Maintain high standards in customer service and curb appeal of assigned properties.
- Communicate effectively with site superintendent and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-time experience in the construction field, remodeling, or renovations.
- Own the majority of hand tools required for interior renovations, including demo, drywall, paint, tile work, and assembly.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and trainability.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of demolition processes.
- Experience with framing and millwork (baseboard, door, and casing installation).
- Light plumbing skills (installing sinks, faucets, toilets, etc.).
- Light electrical skills (installing lighting, ceiling fans, switches, plugs, etc.).
- Experience with drywall repairs, hanging, taping, and texturing.
- Carpet installation experience.
- LVP and LVT installation experience.
- Tile installation experience (floor and wall).
- Painting experience (cabinets, walls, and doors).
- Appliance installation experience (refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, washing machines).
