About the position

The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) position is a contractor role focused on providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with opiate use disorder. The role involves working collaboratively with counseling staff to monitor patient progress, manage medication dosing, and ensure compliance with clinical protocols. The position requires a commitment to in-office work and adherence to strict regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting patient intakes after extensive evaluations by counselors.
  • Monitor patients' clinical progress during regular group counseling sessions.
  • Participate in group sessions by answering questions and managing medication dosing.
  • Authorize prescriptions during monthly patient visits.
  • Complete all clinical notes and reporting in the EMR system within required timelines.

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered NP/APRN state license in Washington.
  • Active individual DEA registration with an address in Washington.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience prescribing Buprenorphine.
  • Proof of active board certification as NP/APRN in any specialty.
  • Ability to work in-office at least 5 hours per week.
