CareGivers Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals for the role of Personal Care Aide (PCA) in Shortsville, NY. As a PCA, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring they feel safe, clean, and comfortable. Your duties may include assisting clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication management. You will also be expected to run errands and provide transportation for clients as needed, which requires a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. The role offers flexible scheduling options, with available shifts on Saturdays or Sundays from 10am to 6pm (or 9am to 5pm), and Tuesdays from 4pm to 8pm. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to clients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.

  • Maintain a clean and tidy living environment for clients.
  • Ensure clients follow their medication schedules accurately.
  • Run errands and provide transportation for clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA.
  • At least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years is preferred.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required for transportation duties.
  • Must be caring, dependable, and meet health requirements.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
