As a Operations Coordinator supporting Surgical Services and Cath Lab, job duties range from but are not limited too: Providing senior level operational support for facility Supply Chain customers to include requisitioning, purchasing, and inventory management. Responsible for providing support in the functional areas of correspondence, data retrieval and compilation, record keeping, communications, confidentiality, and coordinating services for the departments. Assists with day to day operation and organization of the departments to meet the goals set by the Material Management Department. Consistently demonstrates the ability to provide direction in all applications of the dept process and maintenance of quality service in a safe environment. Responsible for development and implementation of policies and procedures in this area. The role requires a minimum of three years previous materials management experience, with previous Surgical Services experience preferred. Supply chain/procurement experience and Lawson ERP experience are also preferred. The Operations Coordinator performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. The position allows for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, and requires proficiency in all aspects of designated procedural areas in preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies and procedures. The coordinator assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures and leads the work of other staff and students as required. Active participation in outstanding customer service and maintaining respectful relationships is essential. The role may also involve taking call after hours, as designated, along with other duties as assigned.
