About the position

The position is for a Professional Engineer (PE) with extensive experience in environmental remediation design and construction. The role involves managing various remediation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and interacting directly with clients. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing project schedules, budgets, and the implementation of innovative remediation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental remediation projects including schedule, scope, and budget management.
  • Develop and implement groundwater and soil remediation approaches for various contaminants.
  • Provide construction management, resident engineering, or QA/QC support during the implementation of environmental remediation projects.
  • Interact directly with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Keep abreast of industry innovations in remediation practices.
  • Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams including scientists and engineers.

Requirements

  • Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) certificate.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental remediation design, construction, and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering.
  • Experience managing RI-FS, design, and/or construction projects with direct client interaction.
  • Experience in detailed remediation design including plans, specifications, and analysis.
  • Extensive field experience in construction management or field engineering support.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with in-situ and ex-situ remediation technologies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting complex information to a technically engaged audience.
